Hiking
I really enjoy being out in fresh air... and this past weekend, another teacher in the office invited a couple of us foreigners to go hiking with her and her family on this mountain about 45 minutes away. It was gorgeous!
First, however, we met up with her and her family at the McDonalds in town. Here Jenny caught me at 6:30am, applying bug spray... in front of McDonalds.

There were some amazing rock formations here... this was at the end of a half cave/rock cliff that we hiked under up part of the mountain.

Mai-mai (the title of all little girls in Taiwan) was a trooper... if by trooper we mean she was carried the whole hike. :) But here, she did stop, walk a bit, and drool.

Piggy-back.

Jenny by some very cool roots.
